Unfortunately tonight I have to put one star 🙁 we travel a long way every week sometimes twice a week because the food and service is allways amazing.. firstly it was unusual that the person who answered the phone was rude and just hung up on me .. secondly I walked in and seemed a new girl just stood and stared at me .. the lady with short hair is allways lovely and I enjoy her friendliness. She was probably my unaware but our food was unetible some of the fish still raw flour wet batter . Chips had no salt despite asking for salt .we felt sick instantly even the kids said they didn’t want to eat it this time 😭
First impression was fabulous with such a clean shop. We ordered 2 works burgers and chips on Saturday night and the lady’s service was great. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the portion was large. The best burgers and chips I’ve atw in years. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
They make their own Pluto pups which alone are amazing but the fresh fried fish and scallops are also delicious.
Shop looks great, sweet service, well stocked up with menu items, works & other burgers on point, fish cocktails delicious & chips lovely too, will definitely return 👌
New owners just recently have made this place incredible, super quick service and incredible value for money. I’ll definitely be coming again, deadset best fish and chips in cessnock by far.
This has got to be the best chippy iv gone to, tjey have the best fish, even better chips, and they even gave us freeonion rings because we were new, they are the nicest people aswell, and it took tjem 5 minute to get out TWO large chips. Will be coming back
Best fish and chip shop hands down. The staff was the best I’ve ever experienced, especially the boy who talked to me. the chip I had were the best I’ve ever seen. would come again, and Id be the boys friends if I could.
