Absolutely flawless! Fresh fish, great tasting seasoning, awesome chunky golden chips. This place is the best for seafood in the area hands down. The guy at the counter was really helpful and friendly, that makes this place an easy 5 stars.
Stopped by Port Hacking Seafood on the way home and am I glad I did.
The menu is the standard fish & chips (grilled or fried fish, prawn cutlets, seafood sticks, etc). What I find lifted my seafood order was their chips!

My father and I ordered grilled fish & chips, and seafood box for one. We both love the chips! The fish and seafood was well cooked and seasoned.
No fanfare service which was fine by me.
Simple food when cooked well is the best. In this case: chips with chicken salt.
OMG the chips from here are amazing and fantastic portions size. I ordered a burger and maybe medium/large chips.
The burger was also really good, meaty and tasty. It was so good I saved some for my son who enjoyed it and the chips too!

If you want to wait an eternity, this is the restaurant to go to. You definitely won’t be disappointed. Horrendous and unprofessional customer service. Was told food would be done in 5 minutes, and took 35 minutes. Not even a slight apology from the person working at the front representing the restaurant when they handed the food over. Definitely will not be going to this place again.
I got fish cocktail and chiko roll today nice food but I did not see owner today and I know he is not coming to shop everyday, I am just saying “buddy Caringbah and carnulla is heart of Aussies please come everyday and check the quality “ shop was very quiet
Food was horrible! The fish was oily and tasted awful. Same as the potato scolops.
Was told the chips would be gluten free and they weren’t! My partner is coeliac and about 20 to 30 minutes later he’s complaining about feeling sick and is now throwing up. Need to check their facts.
Quality of food has dropped hard!!! And the oil hasn’t been changed in god knows how long, my fish and chips almost looked black and completely lacked any flavour. Food tasted like rubber, such as same this place used to be great.
Terrible experience. The staff were very deceptive and untrustworthy. They gave misleading information and it felt like they were deliberately trying to take advantage of customers. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Please be careful if you decide to shop here.
