Quick friendly service. The fish was nice but small. The chips pretty ordinary. They tasted re cooked
Under new management now!! Waited over 40 minutes for 2 x fish n chips and a kids meal. It comes a point when they need to stop taking orders if they can’t provide them at a sufficient time!! Been coming here for 5 years and this has never happened, won’t be back again after this. Ridiculous. Whenever new management take over a joint it ALWAYS goes downhill.
Just a great classic fish n chip shop. No frills. Great portions friendly customer service. A staple of the area.

I am so disappointed with how this place has been lately. I used to come here so regularly but the service and food has gone downhill. They have all new staff who cut corners, don’t know what there doing, the food is soggy and gross and It looks like they precook food to manage demand now. So disappointing and won’t be returning. I felt so sick after eating here. The old owners were the best.
Used to go here every week to feed 4 of our staff members. The last 2 times I went they forgot to give me half my order, this last time I lined up to make an order, someone came in with a phone order…. The woman on til told me to move over so she could serve the phone order. Left my drinks and walked out. Will never go there again. Will also advise people to go that little bit further and go to Caesars! Costumer service and food quality is so much better.

It’s true that over the past period, due to the loss of some experienced long-term staff, and because our fish & chips shop has always stayed committed to traditional flavours and cooking methods that rely heavily on skilled hands, there were moments where our management and consistency did not meet expectations. This led to a drop in overall experience for some customers, and for that, we sincerely apologise.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve carried out additional staff training and made improvements to both our workflow and management. Quality control has been strengthened, and we continue to strictly monitor our ingredients and food preparation standards.
We genuinely hope that moving forward, we can provide a more consistent product and a better overall experience for everyone.

Stopped in today to grab a burger and a couple of potato scallops for lunch, I was amazed at the size and quality of the meal. The service was good and friendly, the wait time reasonable and I would happily go back for more!

We had Takeaway servings of Fish, Chips & Potato Scallops. There was a range of fish options to choose from as well as prawn items, Battered Savs, Chiko Rolls & other usual takeaway foods. It was tasty, not oily or greasy & ladies serving were helpful & polite. Would go back if we are in the area again.
