Absolutely in shock at the crazy good value for money!! Ordered 2 large chips to feed 5 kids and 5 adults, expecting to need two given typical take away experiences, but boy was I wrong!!! Definitely would of only needed 1!! Not to mention the double sized scallops!! Absolute value for money, Highly recommended and will definitely visit again!! Well done tom and Pam!!
We recently moved to the area and have bought food from here about 8 times over the last 3 months. It just round the corner from my house but if it wasn’t so convenient, I’d go somewhere else. The staff have a tendency to be combative with myself and other customers which stems from them looking confused and stressed out most times I’ve visited. The main issue seems to be long wait times and food sitting in the warmer for more that 20 mins whilst they finish preparing the rest of the items. This results in cold stale fried food. Most instances of the staff been rude seems to arise from customers asking “is that my order that’s been sitting there all this time”. Several times I have placed a phone order and told 20 min only to get their and the order hasn’t been started. Today I waiting an additional 40 min so an hour from calling to receiving the food. The chips were under cooked and the remaining items stale from sitting for a long time. Regretfully, we are going to find a new chippy.
Not going to win any take away awards anytime soon .I’ve had worse , staff seemed unhappy , seemingly bickering, look I understand we all get stressed at work and in the hot environment my levels would be testy. Chips were avg 2.7/5. Ok if ur not picky.
When they mess up your order they gaslight you into believing you just ordered the wrong thing.
Plain burgers don’t come with lettuce tomatoes beetroot and onions anywhere in Australia.
If you want good food, Tom and Pam’s is where you go.
The ‘Works’ hamburgers are 2 days worth of meals, and so is a ‘small’ chips (for an individual like me). I haven’t been in store most recently, but my experience of the staff is all wonderful. I can make a quirky request and they don’t just roll with it, they offer a friendly witty response. (probably a behind the scenes ‘rolling of the eyes’ and “another painful customer”?)…
They make me smile. Magic service.

Delivery on time, what you ordered, and still ‘hot’. Beat that!
We moved into the area 2 years ago, thought the food was amazing. Great chips( very generous serve) the last 3 times chips are not even edible and such a small amount. Hamburgers were soaked in sauce and soggy as and chips werent peeled properly. Not going back again.

Pick up in 15mins was told not a problem went to pick order up and had to wait another 20mins got the family chips home and they are raw we had to put them in the oven to finish cooking them. Definitely won’t be going back!! Since the new owners standards have dropped. Food and service woeful. Such a shame and a disappointment for the Tom and Pam legacy!
Really disappointed with the service here. The staff are incredibly lazy and showed no sense of urgency. It took way too long just to get a simple order. I won’t be coming back.
