Excellent octopus i had today with a side of chips.
Was going to get a burger but saw the baby octopus 🐙 and changed my mind.
Beautifully cooked in a sort of sweet chilli sauce delicious 😋
The chips were old school and I was only going to eat a few but ended up smashing the whole lot!
Will definitely order again this summer when I head that way for a swim.
Amazing fish and chips. Damn the fish and chips are good. Especially the chips. Brought a family pack and fish burger and both we incredibly delicious. Well and reasonably price. Will come back to this place if I’m in the area again
We were in the area and looking for a fish and chips place. Found Andy’s and decided to try it due to the high ratings. Mum and son are always working hard and very friendly. Highly recommend the chicken wrap very fresh and delicious homemade mayo sauce. Best potato scallops I’ve had in Sydney super crunchy and perfectly seasoned with chicken salt. The grilled fish is good a bit oily but nice seasoning. Great prices and value for money!
Fantastic classic fish & chip shop! We did come at peak hour on a Sunday, but it was worth the wait.
Prices are reasonable, food was so yummy – not oily, perfectly seasoned and tartare sauce was really good! Lovely customer service.

Very disappointing – ordered 2 grilled barra, chicken burger, chips and salad. At first I thought I’d received fried barra to only realise that’s is overcooked, dry and flavourless.
The place was busy, we waited 30min – which is fine knowing the we would be receiving a delicious dinner.
To the owners, I see you are busy, but please don’t send out food that is overcooked and dry. I would rather you tell us to keep waiting and serve something of quality.
We heard about this place from friends at 630pm and saw they shut at 730pm, jumped in the car and took off there and we were not disappointed. We’re from nz and have been looking for somewhere that can make us feel at home and these guys nailed it. Hey, they were from Christchurch NZ themselves. Make sure you choose the hoki fish, so good!!! Thanks guys. For a moment we were almost back in nz whilst eating it. And the size of the hoki fillets! We definitely over ordered, but couldn’t throw it out so it’s leftovers for lunch today! Coming back frequently!
Look I try to be as fair as I can cos the owner is lovely but more than 50% of the times we eat here we feel unwell. I don’t think her food is off but I think it is of low quality and sometimes her oil really smells foul. Although her seafood is actually really nice, how you feel after I think is just due to poor hygene or bad oil. I guess if you have a strong stomach it is ok, but it is really a gamble how well you will feel after a meal
We got the family basket and it was super generous especially for the price! Fish was very fresh, the calamari was probably the best I’ve had in years! Not chewy or rubbery just perfect
