WOW! What a find.. tugged away in a small, quiet, tiny shopping centre. Thought we dropped in and gave it a burl.
Ordered fish cocktails, fish and chips packs, and burgers with the lot. The calamari rings were a little overcooked, which made it a little tougher than usual.
The chips and other fish dishes were super! You got to try the burgers. They are humongous and delicious. The one thing that would be nice to know ahead is what sauce is the default or being asked. For the old fish and chips shop burgers styles. I would opt for the plain tomato sauce rather than BBQ sauce. That’s just me. 🤣
Give them a shot. We weren’t disappointed, and for sure from the first encountered what a great little find. It’s clean and inviting.
Fantastic food.
The burgers were awesome, particularly the ‘special’ burger.
The bun was huge and nicely toasted to bring out the flavour of the sesame seeds. The smashed meat pattie was delicious and the bacon, egg, beetroot, cheese and fries onions rounded off special burger
The chips were pretty crispy as were the potato scallops.

First time trying from here Ordered from uber eats under cooked chicken garlic balls not happy because I eat some uber only refund me $2.80 not far because I paid $2.50 each for them will not buy from here again
I’ve been going to this takeaway store since I was nine years old that was 1981. It has had many owners and things have changed dramatically but the one thing that has stayed the same is the great quality food and the great customer service given by any staff serving. I fully recommend checking out their size 14 barbecue chickens and their delicious chips and their fish cocktails are supremely good 5 out of 5 stars for this place the first takeaway store. The woman who works at this shop has a bad attitude and mean demeanour, and is always in a mood. I have been there multiple times and she has directed her moodiness onto me. This last time I visited I was so over it I just left and refused to buy. I visited another local nearby fish and chip shop with much better service. I don’t think she understands her poor attitude is something she needs to improve on. Do better or don’t, either way I won’t be buying from here.
The attitude stinks worse than the fish
Walking into this place is like stepping into a bad mood. Cold stares, zero friendliness, and an energy that screams “you’re not welcome.” Her attitude is nasty, and it’s not subtle — it’s targeted. If you know what I mean.
Now onto the food — if you can even call it that. The fish was an oily, limp mess with the taste of regret. left a weird aftertaste like the fryer hadn’t been cleaned since the pandemic. a real masterpiece in failure
This place serves passive aggression and poorly fried scraps, not food. Save yourself the disrespect, you’re better off dumpster diving.

We come here every saturday. The food for takeaway is goid. Great chips and hamburgers. Easy parking in a row of shops there is a bread shop next door to add to your food if you want bread rolls with chips. I have to say that their prices have gone up a little for chips considering there is a potato shortage. We order over the phone and pick up as its not far to drive to. Its tucked away off the main road if you dont live in the area you wouldnt know its there. Over all good cooked takeaway.
Fish and Chips was done just right. Order wait time was shorter than expected. Really enjoyed my lunch. Great Job.
