Best fish and chips around, the owners and works are always exceptionally helpful with recommendations.
Gluten-free options were great!
It’s okay ( not outstanding ) for what it is . The food ( and drink , I guess I didn’t buy a drink from them yet ) is reasonably priced . I ordered the snack pack and within it the fish cocktails and the seafood stick were underseasoned with salt and the chips perhaps was a little over seasoned with salt but tolerable in main . It’s a pity that there’s no water views at this establishment . It was my first time there .
There Fish & Chips are very nice also ordered Crumbed Calamari & Potatoe Scollaps.
Service good quick and efficient although bit of a wait due to it being a Good Friday which made it far more busy than normal .
Even when I arrived there around 4.30pm as there was already a line of people outside waiting to be served along with customers already waiting inside for their order.
Asked for battered fish and chips , and salad on the side. The battered fish was overcooked and stacked on top of the chips. I had to ask for another plate so I could remove the fish from the plate. It’s either they get bigger plates so everything can fit on one plate without anything needing to be stacked or I have to specify that I want the salad on a separate plate. Ordering food be this difficult?
The service was very good, with friendly staff and quick attention. Everything was handled efficiently, which made the visit pleasant.
The food was fresh and well prepared, with great flavor. The portions are generous, definitely filling and worth it.
On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

Excellent local traditional fish and chip shop. Great consistent quality food and service at a very reasonable price. Recommend there grilled fish pack, calamari packs, nice salads too. Friendly quick service.Please never change.
I have never been disappointed when ordering from Myssy’s Seafood. The taste, quality, freshness, variety and service are excellent. The portions are also great. Occasionally there might be a small fish cocktail, calamari ring or potato scallop but they always throw in an extra one when that happens.
I’ve only ever had takeaway delivered and on a few occasions the delivery has gone wrong but that’s not Myssy’s fault, it’s been uber eats or menulog but when that’s happened the owner has been great, going above and beyond by calling me, fixing the issue and offering me a free item. I have nothing but admiration for the great customer service, the delicious food and the speed of the nearly every order I’ve made.
My recent order tonight for 2 people was a fisherman’s basket and a smaller pack with chips, a fish cocktail, grilled Tasmanian scallop, potato scallops, also coleslaw and the order was placed 15mins before closing. It was freshly cooked and delivered within 20 mins.
The calamari was tender, the fish cocktails have more fish than batter and taste great (other places often have too much batter and not enough fish), the prawn cutlets and battered Tasmanian scallops are delish and the coleslaw is fresh, crunchy and tasty (prob the best I’ve ever eaten).
It’s not the cheapest but I’d rather pay more for the quality of the food and good service.
Great places like this aren’t that easy to come by and I’m so glad I found this place just over a year ago when I moved house as it’s nearby to where I now live. Myssy’s will continue to be my no. 1 choice for takeaway seafood.

Fish and chips were great. The batter on the fish isn’t too thick but crispy and light.
