Really disappointing experience…I had crumbed fish and chips and the chips were undercooked and drenched in oil I could have dipped a raw potato in oil and had the same experience. The fish also undercooked unable to eat a recipe for food poisoning. Also the price was on the expensive side for this quality. A real shame because the staff were so lovely and the wait was not long
Only giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option! Food is TERRIBLE everything fried is pre cooked and not fresh, was told scotch fillet steak on a steak burger but it was minute steak. We asked for mayonnaise on a chicken burger n was told they DONT HAVE MAYONNAISE! So changed the order and asked for tomato sauce and received none. Total cost of $40 and the only edible thing was the minute steak sandwich. The fried food out of this place is un edible. VERY disappointed and still hungry. You need to do better. Oh p.s they still use plastic straws too.
Avoid going here at all costs. Ate here recently and have been so unwell with food poisoning since. Was unwell within the first 45 mins of eating.
Worst part is I called the shop as a courtesy let them know to avoid anyone being unwell, and was met with nothing but rude defensiveness from the lady on the phone which makes me think this has happened in the past. Will never being going here again and will be actively telling people not to go.

The best “old school” plain hamburger one could have. Tasty, decent and honest mixed with a bit Humble. Chips are tasty. As a combo it was a great price.
I’ll definitely be back and will encourage others to try this place out.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered from here last night and the fish was GREEN. It was so repulsive that I couldn’t even eat the chips. The burger was falling to pieces with off ingredients and the battered Sav was sour. Not only this, but my dog got in to this food and I have never seen him so sick in my life. His poor anus
Just wanted to jump on and say I’m confused about the recent negative reviews for this place. I’ve been ordering for years and again just now, always great. Chippies, scallops, calamari, fritter and burger are all fabulous. Keep up the good work ❤️
