Buderim keeps a small cluster of shops, and the fryers here are very strongly rated on a modest body of customer reviews, with a few shops rating especially highly. All of them do dine-in and all are family friendly, most take delivery orders, and gluten free options appear at a minority of them.

Reviews there praise both the chips and the fish freshness, and it is the local option carrying gluten free. Delifish Buderim, also very strongly rated, runs a traditional Aussie menu built on barramundi, whiting and snapper, with fish and chips, burgers and calamari to the fore, plus vegetarian options. Its surveyed menu showed plain chips at $6.50, a single piece of fish at $19.90 and mains mostly around $16.90, ranging from $9.50 to $23.90. THE HUB CHIPPERY is strongly rated, serves cod over the counter and keeps potato scallops going.
