This is always the freshest and best fish and chips I’ve found. It’s consistent, oil is changed regularly and the quality is always top notch. I always go for the flake it’s thick cut and never dries out. Chips are massive, in the photo is a jumbo serve and was too much. Salads always nice and crispy and towards the end of the meal each kid was delivered a complimentary fresh fruit platter. Good Ol fashioned service 🤙🏽
Beautiful discovery. We went for Barramundi & Snapper Dinner meals. Absolutely amazing and fresh fish, excellent chips and beautiful selection of salads. The portions were huge. Best thing that seperated this from other places was unlimited selection of sauces from the fridge. They even gave us complimentary fresh fruit at the end. This level of service is not available at many places in Brisbane.
One of the best fish & chip in QLD. Service is great too. Highly recommend. But we had tried seafood basket before, not as good. The usual fish & chip, beer batter chip, sweet potato chip and salads are yummy. It’s nice if them to give out complimentary fruits too.
this place is amazing! we ordered the platter for two – the serving size is extremely generous and the seafood is super fresh. also the staff are really friendly! highly recommend for anyone looking for a good seafood place.
Costas is synonymous with great seafood. Try the flash fried squid, it just melts in the mouth. The fish 🐟 is fresh and mouthwatering. The batter is perfect making a piece of fish delicious with a bit of crunch. The chips are also very good. They are cooked perfectly. There’s also a range of lovely desserts 🍨.
I didn’t eat here but my wife did. There I was just minding own business and someone offered us free fruit. Made. My. Day. Delicious slices of pineapple and watermelon. Was the calamari, chips and prawn cutlets good? Don’t know, she seemed happy. I mean, she was already happy to find a coeliac friendly fish and chip place and was pretty quiet while eating which is usually a solid sign it’s good. Let’s just assume it’s good. I’m still focused on the fruit. So good.
Costa’s Seafood is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the quality of the seafood is unmatched! It is fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavour. What really elevates the experience though is the service. Amego is hands down the best staff member. Very friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure customers have an amazing experience. She goes above and beyond every time, offering great recommendations and making you feel truly looked after. It’s rare to find service this good paired with food of this quality. Costa’s Seafood is a must-visit, and Amego is a huge reason why I’ll keep coming back!
My family came from overseas and decided to give Fish n chips a go in Australia as their first time.
I was amazed by this local shop.
It was not a regular fish n chips.
Food were crispy and yummy.
Oysters were fresh.
Table were clean.
Staff were so friendly.
They enjoy it so much.
