    I’m done with this place. We’ve been getting food here for years but every time it’s smaller and stingier. It’s turned into a blatant rip-off and it feels like they hate their customers. Never again. $13 caesar salad pictured. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

    Just ordered the filthiest cardboard looking fish, with oily chips and seafood bites. Don’t waste your time here.

    Crispy, golden perfection! The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked just right with a light crunchy batter. The chips were hot, well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous and great value for money. Staff were friendly and quick with service, even during a busy period. The place was clean and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

    Fish is mad other food is awesome but a bit shy on the amount of chips you get for a $60 “feast” though. I split they chips between 3 kids 5 and under. Other than that all good 👍

    This is my favourite Fish & Chippery and Burger joint. They cook with cholesterol free oil and always serve fresh. The size & servings are generous compared to their competitors-by a long mile-and thus wins Value for Money in my books every time. I usually get a burger and chips and walk away always full-even the kids meals aren’t skimped on. Thanks Doolandella Fish Depot!

    DO NOT ORDER ONLINE
    I’m genuinely stunned at how bad the online ordering system is. I placed an order for chips with chicken salt and tartare sauce, then updated the quantity to three because I needed three actual portions. Pretty simple… or at least it should have been.

    If your online menu can’t correctly distinguish between three meals and three scoops, then it shouldn’t be taking online orders at all

    I had an uncomfortable experience here today.
    The shop was quiet and there were only two customers inside.
    I watched the other customer receive his takeaway order properly packed in a bag and the lady walked out to hand it to him and he was thanked and wished a good day.

    Soon after, mine was handed to me over the counter with no bag. When I questioned this, the response was dismissive rather than explanatory.

    A free drink was later offered, but no apology or clarification was given.

    I’m sharing this because customers notice when service is inconsistent, especially in a quiet store where interactions are easy to observe.

    I hope management can review this and ensure all customers receive the same level of service.
