Im not sure about everyone else but this takeaway is rubbish. I ordered $14 chips and got minimum chips. Quantity and quality is poor. Not worth the money. Service is dismal, atittude from certain staff makes one think “do they really care about the service”?. Not happy with the overall experience but if you like paying top dollar for rubbish….enjoy. Try them for yourself, you might have a better experience than we did.
I have been coming here ever since i was 14 years old when it first opened. In recent years the Original owner has departed and has a new name on it, Anyone who is complaining about the quality is soft. The new restaurant is Asian themed and will not do good in foods that don’t fit into the architype of “Asian”.
The Food is great and tastes amazing, although the seating they once had is no longer here, its still tasteful none the less.
PS: If your are a Veteran Customer, they will throw in little extra’s like another chicken wing, a stray dumpling or even some more chips.
Bad fish, the batter was doughy and the fish did not taste good at all. I feel like it was a rushed cook, I don’t mind waiting for my food as long as it’s of good quality. Won’t be getting battered fish from here again.
I had food from here quite a while ago & was unimpressed.
I thought I’d give it another go & called the shop to ask a question about the price of a menu item. The woman that answered the phone was very abrupt & rude. She told me not to call & complain about the price. I explained that I was a little confused about the price & I was not complaining. She then said, don’t complain to me, I don’t want to hear it & hung up in my ear.
This is not the right way to conduct business.
This store is now on my blacklist, never again.
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at this seafood place. Honestly, it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. The oil they used was clearly old, leaving everything with a stale, greasy taste. The batter on the fish was just doughy no crispiness at all, and the fish itself was dry and flavourless. As for the Dagwood dog, it was an absolute joke. The batter was so thick you couldn’t even bite into it. The potato scallops? Just soggy lumps that tasted like nothing but old oil. Definitely not worth the money or the calories. One star is generous.
Chips are always nicely salted, hot box has a great variety that tastes and looks good. Friendly service and they remember people that regularly come in 10/10
Called resteraunt about ubereats and she said “no delivery sorry bye”.
The best local take away. Works steak burger is fantastic. I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad meal. Always great value.
