About
Seafood on Pub Lane is a casual fish-and-chip shop in Greenbank, Queensland, serving both dine-in and takeaway meals for lunch and dinner. The venue is family friendly, with a kids’ menu and vegetarian options on offer, and a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance make it easy for everyone to visit. Free on-site and street parking add to the convenience.
Opinions among regulars are mixed. Some visitors find the fish fresh and the chips hot, crunchy, and well seasoned, with portions on the generous side and staff who are genuinely attentive. Others have noted inconsistency with the cooking oil on repeat visits, so experiences can vary. The batter tends to run on the thicker side, which suits some and not others.
Seafood on Pub Lane accepts credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. For anyone in the Greenbank area looking for a straightforward fish and chips meal in a casual, accessible setting, it is worth checking the menu below before heading in.

This is a very fair priced Fish and Chips store.
I heard quite a few bad things about it, also nice things prior to the visit.
I decided to give it a try and I was impressed.
The battering on the fish was a little thick, but it was still delicious regardless.
The portion to pricing was fair and quite affordable.
The customer service was very nice and I honestly enjoyed my meal.
I would definitely come back again for their Fish and Chips 🙂
Absolutely delicious! The fish was so fresh, and wasn’t oily at all. Chips were hot, crunchy, and seasoned just right. The shop is clean, portions are generous, and the team is super friendly. You can really tell they care about quality. Easily the best fish & chips in the area – I’ll definitely be coming back!
Unfortunately the food was not eatable, 2 out of the three times we have tried. It’s old oil and overcooked. Customer service was good just food was not
I ordered a serving of GLUTEN FREE chips and 2 crumbed sausages. The sausages were put on top of the gluten free chips, meaning they chips are cross contaminated. If you’re unsure, don’t sell Gluten Free products. The Islander guy over the phone wasn’t sure whether or not it was Gluten Free and my mother can die. He had the audacity to ask if she’s still alive. That is beyond the fact, the food is contaminated and they had no idea how or where it was cooked. If you don’t know how to run a hospitality business, do some research before continuing, as you’ll kill someone.
First time I came here the fish was good and had no complaints. The second time I came here with my partner 40 mins before closing time and got told half the menu isn’t available… all I wanted was grilled fish and was told this wasn’t available. Also when being told half the menu wasn’t available, we weren’t told what items were available? So I’m assuming they expected us to just keep rattling off food until it was something they could give. I understand wanting to wrap things up just before closing but 40 mins is more than enough time to still be serving your menu
Good luck trying to get ahold via phone. THEY NEVER ANSWER. When you go into store no one’s in there. Very annoying and to even go in store and call, yet no phone seems to be calling in the shop workers must put out the back where it’s not bothering anyone. Poor effort
I’ve visited twice. Best fish and chips reminds of NZ. Young fella Chase was friendly and checked in if we enjoyed our meal…keep up the great work. Awesome food and awesome customer service. Well done
Really disappointed with my order. I asked for a steak sandwich with no tomato, but it came with tomato anyway. The bread was so soggy it was inedible.
To make matters worse, the steak itself was very grisly and tough, with quite a bit of inedible fat. Overall it was disgusting and I won’t be back.
