About
The Fish Shop @ Logan Village sits in the Logan Village area of Queensland and operates as a casual dine-in and takeaway venue with outdoor seating. Free parking is available on site, and the shop is fully wheelchair accessible, making it an easy stop for families with young children. A kids’ menu is on offer, and the venue is open for lunch and dinner most days.
The menu covers the fish and chips staples you’d expect from a Queensland fish and chip shop, including potato fritters and seafood scallops alongside the chip range. Coffee is also available, which is a handy option for those wanting a drink with their meal. Phone-ahead orders are accepted, and some regulars appreciate the efficiency of the pick-up process when ordering in advance.
Reviews from the area are mixed. Some visitors report a smooth and friendly experience when ordering by phone, with orders ready on time. Others have raised concerns about portion sizes and pricing, particularly around chips, fritters, and seafood scallops not meeting expectations for the cost. The venue is family-friendly and accommodates groups and tourists passing through the Logan Village region.
Phone ahead to check wait times before visiting, especially during the dinner rush.

Girl at front counter was lovely how ever the girl in the back the processes refunds is extremely rude not to me to mention you order food that costs a fair bit doesn’t even come with what it’s supposed to. Can you see the cheese and 8.50 for a thick shake that they run out of ice cream so instead of offering refund just add more milk. Then get a teenage attitude response of oh we are busy and if it was left here long it would melt. Mind u wee walked in ordered and she called out our name and we where waiting outside and grabbed it straight away.
Ordered a jumbo chips over the phone for pick up, thinking it would be around 8-10$ got there to pick them up and got charged 18$ for the chips, 5$ for gravy and even got charged for the salt. Chips were OK and to be fair the gravy was good but I can’t justify the price for potato.
I rang up place my order . Customer service over the phone was so helpful and polite and given a time when to be able to pick up my order.Drove from Jimboomba and order was just placed in hot box .Get service on time, and excellent prices. Will be definitely be coming back and the fish and chips were great .Not smother in salt after requesting little salt, which has happened at other fish places around Jimboomba .So well done Fish Shop Logan Village 👍
Very disappointing meal tonight 1/2/26. Calamari was undercooked and beetroot in the salad was off, potato scallops were not much bigger than a teaspoon.
First time at this place
I rang to ask price of potato scallops and was told $2 each which is the going rate
So I ordered hoki and 3 scallops
Fish was a good size for the price but I couldn’t believe how tiny the scallops were and I thought they may of given me 6 to make up for it
No such luck
How can you sell scallops that small for $2 WHAT A COMPLETE RIPOFF
And guess what it doesn’t end there
I asked for salt and didn’t get any and was charged 26cents for a little piece of lemon
Isn’t it better to be fair and not tightarse rip-offs
In the long run if you had being fair myself and others who have posted a bad review would come back again and again but I personally will never step foot in your shop again
WAS IT WORTH IT
THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS
YOUR MEANT TO KEEP CUSTOMERS NOT LOOSE THEM
Despite being opened until 7.30 pm went to place an order at 7.15 pm only to be informed no can do as grill had been turned off. No apologies. Poor service, was unable to get meal & shop front needed a good clean. If I could give less than one star rating I would.
Spent over $55, fish were very small, one of the seafood scallops didn’t have anything in it and no row, they charge 3.50 each
Potato fritter was very very small
Won’t be back could went to the local hotel and got a better meal for same price,
Food was undercooked, very long wait when they didn’t appear to be busy to be greeted with a long black hair in our food when we opened it. During eating one of the staff members came outside and stood right in the entrance of the outdoor eating area and sparked up a cigarette as my children were eating, less than 2 metres away. Wouldn’t recommend.
