Great food. Friendly. Fast.
I’m new to the area. I wanted a quick meal for my family of 11😎😂. So we ordered $15 of chips, a scallop each and a pack of chicken garlic balls. There was a huge amount of chips. Awesome. Enough for everyone. The home made scallops are great, and the chicken garlic balls were fantastic. Worth going again.
This is an independent review. BTW they also respond on Google so they are eager tech ppl. 😍😎
My colleague told me their beef croquettes are nice and the fish and chips good as well. The hamburger is recommended also.
I took my daughter to Blackwood Dental which is just next door. So I decided to try the Dory battered fish and chips, and beef croquettes. Hamburger next time round 😁
The battered Dory is pretty good. Tasty and the fish is decent in thickness. Not like a fish and chips shop I tried a while back; super thin fish. The batter was not very crunchy though.
The chips serving is a tad bit on the “small” size compared to our favorite fish n chips shop. They’re yellowish in colour. Maybe they use a bit of tumeric?
The beef croquettes were okay. Not bad, but did not impress us. We’ve had much better beef croquettes. Good amount of fillings I must say. There’s more beef filling than potato. Thumbs up there.
Our order was served pretty quick. I thought that was good. They’re wrapped with paper as most fish and chips shop. But I was a bit surprised when I held my order they didn’t feel hot. Just warm. A bit disappointed there.
All in all. Not very impressed. Won’t say I’m totally disappointed either. Pretty good value for money. $9.50 for a fish and chips?! These days your looking at the least $13! Quick service is a definite thumbs up. I still want to try the burger, it says home made, so I look forward to give that a try on our next visit to the dentist next door 😁

You have to hold it with two hands and the beetroot falls out 😁. It’s a thing of absolute beauty!!
The bacon and egg burger was full of bacon and spot on. Decent serve of chips and I had a pineapple fritter but there is no photo because I ate it!
This is what hamburgers were like when I was a kid and they are great. And at $26 for 2 burgers, chips, a drink and a pineapple fritter, fantastic value for money!

Ordered the Family pack # 1 and couldn’t fault it. Everything was crispy and fresh, just the right amount of salt and the servings were very generous. We couldn’t finish it all.

Really really good solid fish and Chips! The chips are so crispy and with decent amount of chicken salt, and the owner and the service staff are all super friendly. It’s so yum we finished it before trying, it’s right to next IGA so heaps of parking. A must try local gem
