Damn I just ordered some chips and I chose this place because the less than perfect looking places are usually better. This is definitely true here. Chips are amazing and I’ll definitely be back to try other stuff.
I took a picture when the chips were mostly gone because I couldn’t stop myself from eating them.
Love the fish and chips here. Big portion and worth the price. Staff are always friendly too. My partner loves the pineapple fritter! I have tried to order seafood scallop on multiple occasions but they always said its sold out so I sometimes wonder perhaps they don’t even stock it. But regardless, fish and chips are amazing! Will definitely eat at this place often!
Really good size fish cooked well. Chips were good also. This place looks on the outside like somewhere you may look at and keep driving but trust me the food is worth the visit. Clean and tidy also.

The place is dirty. The seats are sticky. You can tell they don’t clean the place when the doors are sticky aswell. We spent $89 on meals. The fish tasted so bad we threw it out. The 2 chicken Burgers tasted horrible they went into the bin as well. The only ok part was the chips.
We don’t recommend this place. It’s horrible and gross. We won’t be going back.
Extremely disappointing experience.
I stopped in this afternoon for $5 worth of chips and was shocked by the serving size — a very small portion served on a tiny tray, nowhere near reasonable value.
More concerning was the condition of the shop. The premises appeared unclean, there was an unpleasant smell, and the windows were visibly dirty. It did not inspire any confidence in food hygiene or safety.
This is particularly disappointing because this shop used to be one of the best fish and chip stores in Beenleigh, known for good quality food and generous portions. Sadly, that standard is long gone.
I won’t be returning. I want clean premises, fair portions, and food I feel comfortable feeding my family. Based on today’s visit, I can’t recommend this business to others.
This place… looked ok. From the outside.
We had, prawn cutlets, calamari rings, chips and beef croquettes.
The only real edible things were the need croquettes and some of the chips.
The calamari rings were cuttlefish, and chewy as.
The prawn cutlets weren’t any better.
Service… not worth rating.
No atmosphere
No range of drinks.
I think the shop has new owners. We have ordered twice now in the past 6 weeks. Friendly greeting at the door and super efficient smiling service. We had the calamari rings, crumbed cod and chips. Chips cooked perfectly, calamari fabulously tender and the cod is Australian – top marks for that !
