Located near to Robina town, the fish-n-chips (NZ Hoki, battered with plain salt) was nice. The calamari was interesting, but it was not chewy. If you are not a big eater, three portions of fish-n-chips and a calamari for sharing is a reasonably nice portion for four persons.
Ordered a Grilled snapper, paid enough for it, fillet was tiny. Whilst delicious I won’t be back, you are really having a laugh serving such small portions for the price you charge.
Ok, sure, I promised Dennis that we’d help him put the new forged motor into the BF, but George from Bonogin listed 3 Raguna JDM wheels for $10 each. Josho and I wasted no time heading south to snaffle the deal of the week.
Bargain hunting makes for some hungry lads, so we decended upon Reedy Creek chippo for a chew.
Dave was quick with the wit, genuinely enthusiastic about the schnitty burg, and next thing we knew we were taking to a bloke about his Cali F150.
A few minutes later, Dave produced our tucka, and both Josh and I were super impressed. Damned fine in every regard, and worthy of the highest commendation.

The BEST hot chips on the Gold Coast! We love coming here and it’s certainly a little hidden gem on the GC. The staff are so lovely & we’ve never had a bad fish and chips. The golden nugget though is the extra crispy hot chips. We’ve taken these hot chips to family/friend gatherings and they all say they are the best they’ve had. We’ll continue recommending this place to everyone.
We love seeing the ladies every Sunday we can, and we always bring our son to say hello. They are lovely and always treat us well.
The food itself is also another main reason to visit this spot. Everything we have tried so far from the menu tasted amazing. The batter or crumb are always dry and stay on the food. You can tell it has been well prepared and it’s truly amazing. Best service and Fish and chips on the coast.
I came here with my friends, everybody loved it. The chicken burger was delicious, and it had the best crumb. No notes.
We have got takeaway from here a few times now and can honestly say it is the best Fish and Chip shop in the Varsity, Reedy Creek and Mudgeeraba area! So fresh and delicious. I can’t go past the fish burger! Great little business always busy, and I know why!
Simply the BEST traditional burgers on the Gold Coast anyway. No one comes even close. Great chips and such friendly service. Highly recommended
