Normally don’t write bad reviews for local small businesses
Ordered a burger special and cod special, cod special was good but the fish was really thin. Chips were somehow cold by the time we got home down the road and extra chicken salt was missing.
The burger meal was completely not as advertised, had the same kind of patty as a maccas burger with no flavour, the chips in the meal were advertised as the small, when you order a small separately you get the same package as the burger and chips came in. So I essentially was charged for a small chips getting half the portion.
Overall, small portion of cold chips with barley any salt, cod was all crumb, and burger meal was severely disappointing better off going to maccas next time
The food is just average, nothing special. The hot chippies are good most of the time (as a side dish to a home cooked meal). The fish has been dry and overcooked both times purchased. Very nice people running the place though!
Never again will I waste my good hard earned money on this rubbish. I bought 2 crumbed cod. No flakes in the so called fish just a white flourish goo. Didn’t even smell like fish. The chips were passable…..just. 1 ⭐️
We drive 30 minutes just to come to this place and every time the food is on point 👌 chips are always so good and we love the dory here. 10/10 every time 🔥
Need to sell up and do something different because you’re no good at fish and chips!!!!, snapper x 2 was terrible, hard rubber fish just absolutely terrible, chips were ok, calamari rings were ok, never again, need to taste your own food and be critical about it, it’s the only way to improve, garbage at the moment!!
Pizzas and Thai next door are great
Disappointing experience, we’ve previously had a reasonably above average experience with Tim’s Seafood.
Unfortunately right from the phone call Miss Trunchbull was short and rude. Now that we have had the opportunity to eat the food we can comfortably say this was disgusting.
The large spring roll was soft and sludgy, the loaded hotdog, was a sausage on a roll, with an undercooked rasher of bacon shoved underneath, WHOLE Onion rings!? Uncooked of course and then squished into the bag just to make it a little less appetising. The chips which are usually pretty good were cold and soggy.
I would usually just leave it be, but on top of Miss Trunchbull’s undeserved attitude you serve this mess you call food. Have your one star, you’ve earned it!
So impressed with the meals we get from Tim’s Seafood that’s why we continue to support their local business.
Absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t be happier with the quality and quantity! Everything was battered, crumbed and cooked to perfection.
