I come over to order some fish & chips as my lunch at first time in fischo, and its very lovely,,,the portion is big and come with salads veggies (💵16) , battered fish is reccomended , I try that Crumbed one but that battered is more lovely and tasty😋👌 fish & chips are my favorite & I know every aussies try to made that more delicious than others,, but hard to find Fish&chips where using really fresh fish (max 1 night after catching), and Its the Real secret to made taste yummy… The sellers is humble and friendly, keep Be like that please !!that’s key to keep your customers love ur cafe and ur food and keep coming!!
Over priced, took forever & food taste horrible. Not only did we pay near $29 for the smallest bit of fish. The bun on my burger was rock hard & uneatable Chips were ok.
Ordered 3 items – Food took twice as long as listed and was supposed to come with chips. No chips were supplied. Gluten free whiting was hard, dry and for some reason circular – not convinced it was whiting. Team seemed nice, but we won’t be back.
I have to say fish co on Tues $10 deal is so good. Both the crumbled and battered fish were good but tartar sauce was subpar
Only in town for a few weeks but I had the Cod meal 4-5 times. Really good and great value.
Need to get curry sauce on the menu!!
We recently visited Fish Co Café and decided to order one piece of fish, a serve of chips, and the board special. Unfortunately, the wait was over 30 minutes, even though the café wasn’t busy at the time.
When our order finally arrived, there was also some confusion — we had ordered the Rib Filler Burger and Chips but instead received the Rib Fillet Meal. While the food itself was decent once it arrived, the long wait and mix-up with our order did take away from the experience.
Overall, the staff were friendly, but the service and attention to detail could use some improvement to match what’s shown on the menu board.
Ordered fish and chips for the family, fish was cold and batter was not fully cooked. The chips we also cold and very wet, soaking in oil that tasted old. Took 2x longer than told and could see the fish cooked just sitting there for 15mins while we waited for order! For $83 we will not be going back.
Service and atmosphere were good my battered sweetlip tasted good but it was very dry , potatoe scallops were burnt and very very greasy. No lemon with the fish very over priced . I come from Gladstone and at Swans fish n chips we get lemon or lime with the fish and they throw a few chips in as well and when you get scallops they throw an extra one in and in the price we get a 1.25 litre soft drink for the same price I payed at Fishco today. Disapppointed in the quility.
