The prices were more than reasonable, the calamari was delicious, the chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the staff were friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend, perfect to take out for lunch looking over the Lake Samsonvale. The only thing is I would have liked a few lemon squeezes with my calamari, but other than that small nitpick, it was a perfect fish ‘n chip lunch for my friend and I 🙂
If you want nice fresh chips, I suggest not ordering at lunch time. Got our chips and they were dry and tasted like cardboard. Guessing reheated from the night before. Seafood sticks were soggy and gross. Pretty much threw out the whole order. So disappointing.
The fish was dry and tasteless-chips cold unable to eat. Coffee flat white only 3/4 full and tasteless. Very disappointed
Battered cod and chips were hot fresh and delicious. Small chips were heaps for a big guy like me. Not really a sit down kinda place but more of a take away. Happy with my meal. They just need to offer vinegar, it’s fish n chips after all.
Calamari was great, chips were great, dim sim was great – seafood stick was a bit soft but overall happy with the food. Agree with others comments it’s VERY salty but I don’t mind a bit of salt so was still decent.
Absolutely terrible. Ordered our fish and chips, when I got home I found there was no fish in the box. Had to go back and they reluctantly cooked me a fresh piece. It had no flavour at all. Portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. Will not be going back.
Honestly a 10/10 experience. From ordering online to collection, to outstanding food. I could not be happier with my first experience with Jumbo’s Shark and Tatie – the homemade scallops are to die for, burger, chips and nuggets were exceptionally well cooked! We have zero complaints.
There battered flake , battered sav’s and potato scallops are amazing best in the business and I highly recommend them.
