Order a large kabab and x-large chips, the girl try’s to charge $40, I correct her and she corrects the payment to $25 without an apology. Then tries to give me a large chips, had to correct her again and again no apology. Just turns around and dumps the chips in an x-large box. Well I guess their aim was to make sure they ripped me off. The kicker is..the chips were so bad the dog refused to eat them and now I’ve got diarrhoea most likely from the kabab. My Australian dollar will never that place again.
Absolutely disgusting.
Ordered a mixed HSP and a kebab for the Mrs. Waited nearly half an hour and I was the only customer being served. I wouldn’t have minded if the food was prepared fresh but that wasn’t the case.
– chips were cold, brown and hollow. Looked half a day old.
– lamb was super hard, crusty, cold and wasn’t much of it.
– chicken was thin hard and stringy and of course cold not much of that either.
The only good thing was the salad. And that’s all I could eat.
Offered it to the dog…even she turned her nose up at it.
Fingers crossed I don’t have food poisoning.
Backing on to my husband’s review below. I have since attempted to eat my kebab and only made it through 1/3 (out of desperation of being hungry) before throwing it in the bin.
The pita was stale. That takes skill to serve stale pitas at a kebab joint….
The chicken was old, dry and crumbly. As though it had been shaved and left under a heat lamp for hours.
Add that to my husband’s HSP and I can guarantee we will not be coming back. It’s a shame because we were there about 2 months ago and had a far better experience. Something has definitely changed and not for good. Cannot recommend at all, in fact, I recommend going to any food joint in that mini mall (even the Ampol) as anything would be better than what is served here. $40 for what – a waste of time, money and a sore stomach.
Came here hungry and left completely satisfied the food was amazing and everything tasted super fresh. Hands down the best kebab I’ve ever had, the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and seasoned just right. It truly hits the spot every time.
The HSP was next level too although my mate couldn’t finish the whole thing due to generous portions, crispy chips, tender meat, and that sauce combo is addictive. The whole meal was so fulfilling, no room left for anything else.
Staff were friendly and quick, even when it was busy. If you’re in Yamanto and craving a proper feed, this is the place. 100% coming back! Highly recommend🔥
This place used to be so good under the previous owners. The weight of the kebabs now is not worth the price. So disappointing
Best kebab I’ve had in a long time. Fresh bread, juicy meat, perfect sauces. One bite and you know this place is different. Won’t go anywhere else now.
My calamari rings were really good but was very very small and my spring rolls was really big thank you really good thanks but I did not like how it was spicy I can’t stand spicy sorry about that and the chips were ok not that good but The thing that made it taste weird was the weird chicken sauce maybe next time please get new chicken sauce that actually tastes good. Sorry about the bad angle review. I’m so sorry but thank you for the food. I still ate it. Thank you very much.
Soggy frozen meat and fries the sauces tastes oily as if they were bad or expired! recent shift in quality of products being used has become terrible ill avoid eating here till they improve and keep the shop’s environment clean smelling nice which it wasn’t!
