Went here yesterday and forgot to leave a review. The chips were perfectly cooked… crispy on the outside and soft inside. We got the small serve for two people, and it was just right. The flathead was excellent, lightly battered and tasted so fresh it could’ve been caught right out the front. The squid was a standout too, with a subtle turmeric or curry seasoning that was absolutely delicious. Owner said that the squid they had were slightly small, so they threw in 2 🙏… We don’t usually go for fish and chips after being disappointed too many times, but this place really changed our minds. Could easily eat here every other day.
Sadly waited 1.5hrs for our food when we were told 30mins initially. Went back 3 times only to be not given any indication of time just “we’ll call you”. Ready 5 mins after we left the 3rd time! Then they forgot our fish! Went back they said it wasn’t ordered even though she repeated my order back to me including the 3 pieces of local flake! Only to be told nope it’ll be 1.5hrs for the fish.
Far out ridiculous and really disappointed. Just wanted a nice day by the beach ending in some fish and chips. Will need to find an alternate dinner on the way home.

Delicious grilled fish with a side of chips. Has gluten free options including fish, burgers & pizza, plus understands coeliacs which is great! Too busy enjoying to take a picture. Outside dining with picnic tables that are dog friendly.

We rarely have fish + chips, its a special treat.
But here it is awesome: crumbed fish, flaky = perfect. Chips for 2= a generous portion and the onion rings!! =perfect.
It was very busy but the staff very friendly.

Went back for a 2nd time!
Pizza was not good at all, way too oily. We also had some fries, which were ok and the fried chicken was very salty. Meat quality looked a bit questionable. Would not come here again.
Had a good feed here on the Aust. Day long weekend… Surcharge for weekend and public holidays but the food was good… Not our first visit and no complaints. We had Dinner after attending a Breakdown with Ontrack Mechanical & Fabrication at the caravan park
We had the steak burger and it was delicious. Crispy chips were amazing and a huge serve.

I am gluten intolerant and it is SO difficult finding a fish and chip shop that will do GF battered fish. It was SO good. The flake was cooked just right. We don’t get Flake in NSW and it was yummy! Thanks for the great service and yummy food. Highly recommend you visit if you love great fish and chips, cooked the way you like them.
