Great value. Well staffed. Great menu option. Jeff and the team are always wonderful to me. A great place to fill your tummy.
Great lunch deal for $11.90. 1/4 chicken, chips & 2 salads. Massive portion for me. Could feed 2 people. Chips are cooked well, crispy, good amount of salad. Lots of flavour. Highly recommend 👌🏽
I visited the store in the search for some chargrill chicken, to leaving with a pork roll, fish and some other items for myself and my dog to try. I have to admit, it was very nice. The fish and chips tasted generic and on par with 70% of fish and chips shops, the pork roll tasted beautiful with the exception next time ill ask for less gravy. Store was old and relatively clean, male staff who appeared to be an owner/manager was friendly, late 20s female was bubbly and beautiful to deal with. Overall I could mainly notice some kitchen cleaning and minor customer area sprousing is required. Keep up the great work.. 🙂
I accept that I placed an order at quarter past 2 in the alvo for a 1/4 chicken, chips with peas and carrots, but serving up peas so cooked that they’re mush and carrots so cooked that they’ve lost some of their colour isn’t cool.
In future, perhaps advise a customer ordering such a meal at such a time, that the peas and carrots would be not fit for consumption to save them the ordeal.
Not a fan of the chips either. The chicken was great. Not great enough to compensate for the above or to visit again, though.
The grilled fish was tiny, the battered fish was not fully cooked, the chips were bland and chalky. I assume the vegetables are frozen which I can understand for ease but they had no taste. We wouldn’t have normally ordered vegetables but we were at the parents and they did not have any. I think I’d go without next time. I would not order from here again.
My review is firstly about a staff member. He is male and new to his role. Just let me say that he is doing a fantastic job. Awesome customer service. Polite, welcoming, friendly and curtious. He even brought my food out to me and wished me a good night.

I have bought the chicken and chips from here multiple times and they are pretty good.
I very rarely write a bad review, I think just leave it and put it down to experience and dont go there again, however, what I purched was beyond bad.
Purchased 2 battered fish and chips for 2, portion size very good, the fish was over cooked and dry the batter on one of the dark brown, the fish tasted like chicken, so much so that under the batter of one of the fish was chicken stuffing … how does that happen?
The chips had been precooked and then reheated, they were stale, that funny yellow colour and tasted terrible. $21 down the googler. I would not recommend this place to anyone sorry.
