Quite disappointing given the great ratings! We made a huge order for about 20 family members and the chips were stale/dry/hard, shocked it was even acceptable to serve

Fish and chips are very good, lightly battered, and cooked perfectly inside.
Shop is clean and well presented with tables and chairs available. Others may have mentioned the old guy behind the counter is a bit gruff. Don’t let that stop you from going here, he seems like a nice guy under the hard exterior, kind of like the chips that are served there, nice and soft once you get past the crisp batter.
Beautiful food, we had fish salad and chips. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. Great price too.
Second time for us and i can honestly i havnt had great fish and chips like that in years! The food was fresh and delicious, the shop is clean, well presented and i love the decorations..makes it feel homely and welcoming! The owners/ staff are lovely people, happy to drive from wallaroo for your food🥰 highly reccomended eating here

The owner may seem a bit cold at first～but the interior decor feels warm and thoughtfully designed！
The seafood is very fresh and fried to order、Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for quality fast food done right！
I think its time for the old man to retire and “Maybe” enjoy life because what a miserable bitter old man he is. It’s very obvious he’s not a peoples person what so ever. Witnessed him speak incredibly rude to a young lady aswell as watch me struggle trying to carry my order as they didn’t have bags.. No offer to help with the door absolutely nothing just stared me down rudely..
Asking a lady to speak to you politely and with a hello in such a grumpy manner. As a business owner how about you start first with speaking to your customers politely.. A smile goes a long way too.. Oh and your attitude rub off on your food so that wasnt great either.
I am a coeliac and live on the yorke peninsula, it has been years since my husband and I have been able to enjoy having burgers and chips together, his normal burger and mine gf, I could tell the patties where made in house very tasty, very knowledgeable regarding coeliac so I felt comfortable ordering and eating there, highly recommend, only hope if someone buys it they will continue to offer gf menu. The owner was friendly.
This Takeaway Store is Fantastic, I went there this week!! By far my new favourite takeaway. There’s a lot of options on the menu and the food is very fresh and I highly recommend the fish, it’s massive and tastes amazing!! Perfect for families, or going solo. The customer service was a 10/10 extremely friendly staff, great prices and definitely worth your time. I highly recommend going here for everyone.
