The fish was perfectly golden and crispy, batter wasn’t greasy. Flaky and moist inside. I can tell they care about what they serve. Warm and friendly service. And chillies are extraordinary if you like spicy. If you are around, come and try yourself. Wont regret.
New owners at our local Fish and Chip joint, who are lovely and greeted us with big smiles. Had takeaway budget box – deliciously crispy all round and a fresh Greek salad. No complaints! Would recommend, and planning on coming back!

No wonder they recently got ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star rating from the suburb council. Platter is very big, and worth especially for their price. Very recommended for drop by / take away. Owners are really kind as well, definitely coming back here!
Serving for 1 , The best fish and Chips I have found in the area. Large piece of fish Tassie scallops perfectly cooked and I don’t usually eat many chips, there were plenty and I ate them all . Most enjoyable. Service was great, easy to talk to and pleasant to deal with.

Always on a mission to find the best potato cakes and these were right up there. Home-made light, crispy, crunchy batter and a good chunk of potato .. perfectly cooked. The fish, lovely and moist with the same crispy batter was also fantastic. Thanks TJ and Florentina who are the lovely new owners of Booran Fish and Chips. BTW .. I’ve already told several neighbours about you!
We tried Booran Fish & Chips for the first time tonight. Had Fish burgers and Potato cakes.
OMG….the BEST we have eaten.
Firstly the shop is unlike others where you walk in and you get that oil and frying smell. This place is clean and well ventilated so no oily smells. Very neat and clean.
Secondly the owners Florentina and TJ were absolutely delightful. So lovely, welcoming and nice people.
Finally the food was fantastic. The burgers were made so generously, the fish was so fresh and perfectly fried(not one of those pre made, half fried fish pieces), fresh salad and extremely good for the price.
The Potato cakes were sooooo huge, had the perfect batter coating and again great value for the price.
The food was made with love.
I highly recommended the Fish burger and Potato cakes.
Do give this place a try.
We will surely be back….this will now be our go to Fish & Chip shop.

Had fish and chips for first time with these owners although I am local and historically previous food was excellent.
2 STARS as it was hot and service was fine the fish however was AWFUL “rubbery” certainly wasn,t flake, I eat fish regularly all types but that was worst Ive ever had…..not good 🙁
