Had the steak sandwich with the lot. Quite tasty and very filling. Steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare and juicy. Nice crispy bacon, however it was lacking that ‘wow’ factor though – needs something like an onion relish to lift it up and some seasoning as the mayo and tomato sauce are just too simple. Nice fresh bread could be grilled a bit more as when you bite into it, it becomes quite mushy. Overall not bad though. 7.5/10
Amazing unassuming fish and chips store. Great fresh fish with a nice thin crispy batter fried to perfection. They take the effort to drain excess oil so even after a massive feed I did not have any bad aftertaste or oily feeling. Best enjoyed during sunset time down the road at Sandringham beach.

What a find! In a very unassuming strip shopping centre is Dezy’s .. absolutely yummy fish and chips.. the fish and chips and potato cake were delicious and not at all greasy… the potato cakes were probably the nicest I’ve tasted .. I had a grilled barramundi which was perfectly cooked. The chips were fine..all in the all, really high quality take away fish chips.. Dezy’s is now my go to chippy..if you are hanging out for fish and chips, you should give Dezy’s a try.. I will definitely be going back again.
The best fish and chips shop in Bayside. Servings are massive and the prices are amazing. The Wagyu burger and their fish and chips lunch special is to die for. Lucky they are walking distance to my home.
This was not a good experience. Ordered potato cakes and scallops takeaway; the online process was easy and timing for pick up was accurate. However the food was terrible; the batter was thicker than the potato inside, and same problem of sickly oily super thick batter on the scallops, and black spots of rot on the potato, only seen after peeling off the batter. Also note that the 4.7 star review rating on their website is fake; is made up of 5 stars with no comments from multiple entries from the same half a dozen people … Annie, Rob, Ian, Jim etc. scroll through for yourself. Very dodgy.
Was looking for a new fish and chips shop try out so glad we choose here! Best burger I’ve had like full burger shop style and great chips too!
Yum! My family tried Dezys for the first time and were very impressed. Great old school style fish n chips.
Batter on the fish was light and crispy. Potato cakes also crispy and a good amount of potato. All fried perfectly (nothing soggy).
The burger with the lot was also really nice, good seasoning and well cooked egg and bacon.
We will be back!
