Family consensus is excellent. For reasons unknown to me my son loves hot dogs in batter. Best ever apparently. Good serves. Fish was yummy. Minimum chips was a good size.
Also were super quick from phone order to pick up.
I’ve had plenty of fish and chips from various places in my life, but this is among one of the best ones in terms of service and value. Fish were crispy and well cooked, and we were given a generous portion of chips. The food could do with more seasoning/salt though. Overall, Clarinda Village Fish and Chippery has some of the best fish and chips in the area and amazing customer service.
Amazing Chips. The perfect balance. Crunchy but not overdone. No gluten in the chips, although it is fried in the same oil as gluten containing things so not suitable for celiacs. Friendly service, happy to talk about the ingredients, etc. Will definitely be back.
Nice little place pretty good prices, I had the HSP and it was probably a 7.5/10 nothing insane but tasted nice and however I don’t think the meat is fresh which makes sense for a place like that. Not really a place to sit and eat though
Serving was very small as compared to last time. Prices increased. In other way we can say it doesn’t worth it because there was barely no things inside the kebab and I came from 15km to just eat kebab. Very disappointing.
Not sure when this changed hands. Got a hsp. Not what it used to be needs. The chips where bland and little salt. Hopefully they get better.
Service was good though
My wife and I have been regular customers here for years and it is in our considered view, one of the best fish shop we have experienced over many years living around Melbourne.
