Would love to give them a zero but 1 is okay. Poor service. Ordered 3 grilled barramundi only to get my fish deep fat fried. Upon return to rectify my order the staff member and was rude and argumentative. He refused to rectify my order. The packaging was poor. Everything was stuffed in one wrapping.
Far too much salt on fish & chips, although we ask 4 a light sprinkle.
Hamburger was a major rip off. Tomato & lettuce looked & tasted a few MONTHS OLD. & on inspection of the burger further I noticed the burger it’s self was @ least half the of the roll & the cheese only just covered the burger. When I said about it 2 the 1 that served & cooked it, he made out he didn’t try 2 understand what I was saying (I don’t know if this was intentional or not) so I stood there , making my point until I did think it had sunk in, I was holding up the line (sorry 4 those that were behind me hungry & cold) I’ve found that the prices r high (but that mayb 2 help cover their salt costs, given how much they (& that was just on. After removing the lettuce & tomatoes, I was satisfied eating the rest of the burger. PLZ PLZ PLZ OWNERS , reduce the amount of salt u use & make ur hamburger pattie bigger so it’s a decent size. Would think of coming back 2 being a regular if these things were taken in2, SERIOUS CONSIDERATION.
Maybe not so in the past but now is excellent fish and chips.
The guy running this shop is not rude, just a quiet guy who has
definitely mastered the cooking of good fish and chips.
Highly recommend his fish and chips.
I’m not a big fan of leaving negative reviews but there was too many things wrong here not too.Was overcharged $4.50 on a $48.50 order. Fish was very dry and seemed old. Batter on fish potato cakes and calamari felt like it was stale. Chips were ok.
Had fish and chips there and 6 calamari rings well what can I say the food was shit to much batter no taste and the chips were under cooked calamari rings were so tuff u needed a chainsaw to cut them and I couldn’t eat the at all waste of money wouldn’t recommend it to anyone .
Got a whole chicken for dinner when we arrived home and couldn’t eat it next time better go to Cole’s and buy one much better then that .
Worst chicken hamburger, leftover chicken from previous night, pineapple fritters where burnt. Just awful
Absolutely terrible customer service and even worse food
i literally threw out the fish and chips i bought and couldn’t eat for the rest of the day it was GROSS
I had guest over for tea, and in appreciation for work received, l shouted them fish and chips,( biggest mistake EVER). The fish was so dry and lacking of any moisture, l presume it was sitting in a baymarrie for hours. The potato cakes were more like potato crisps, burnt and upon inspection HAD LITTLE OR NO POTATO IN THEM.
Which Leeds me to think they were recooked a number of times.
The owner / cook took advantage of the fact that we were one of the last customers and cleared out his remaining baymarrie stock and took our money as fast as he could, hoping he could get away with the deception.
Karma will come back sooner or later, hopefully nobody gets food poisoning in the meantime..
