The family favourite Fish N Chip shop. Run by an amazing family who are the most friendly and polite people you would think they are your own family! The service is so good that you can’t help but leave with a smile! Great crunchy chips, amazing chicken salt, awesome prices and lunch deals you cannot go wrong.
Everything was cooked so perfectly taste delicious. Was my first time here needed a quick bite before starting work and this was by far one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve been to in a while since being back home in New Zealand. Kiwis (all my fellow new Zealanders if ur missing a good feed of fish and chips make the trip to Hallam) it’s worth it😍
Hamburger Pack, came with the Burger with the lot. The burger was very nice, the patty was very large, and juicy. Lots of fresh ingredients. Onion in the burger was cooked perfectly. Fries were hot and crunchy, and had chicken salt. The box was filled full with fries. Burger and fries were not oily. The staff were very friendly, great customer service, and fast service.
Always a great experience! Offers a full gluten and dairy free fish and chips menu. The GF potatoe cakes are as good as regular ones! Owners are always friendly and remember local visitors!

Best fish and chips in town! The flake was excellent and seasoned to perfection. Definitely a must try if in the area.
Special thanks to the lady I dealt with she was very polite, generous, and always smiling. I also spoke with the owner, who was extremely kind and polite and even offered me a free drink for the long wait.
We ordered two whiting half cooked, a pineapple fritter , a south Melbourne dim sim and minimum chips. The colour was lovely and golden. Fish were cooked perfectly and the crunch was crisp without the overcooked crunch.
Overall the meal was lovely, the service was too.
