I grew up going here and there was always hot food, fish & chips. Then for quite a few years none whatsover. Now fish & chips is back and it’s the best I’ve had in the area, in comparison to the “normal” fish & chipperies. When I’m back in the area from now on I’m going to make a point of coming here for the yummy food! 🤤

This place has come back to a real local store. Good quality, good tasting hot food plus all the things you might need in a hurry. Cold dairy stuff lots of tinned goods and dry goods. Even a well stocked spice rack.

Owners could be friendlier, fish & chips are not consistent sometimes not cooked properly! Twice fried dim sims & spring rolls were cold in centre:( will avoid going back if I can!! This Milkbar has had a lot of owners, keeps going downhill unfortunately.
First order here via Menulog. I like an old fashioned hamburger & with beetroot. Burger nice ordered with a couple of dim sims & a potato cake. Order arrived on time but incomplete NO potato cake, hence the review… mentioned in a previous review for this biz. Double & triple check your orders for repeat customers, not a deal breaker but disappointing 🤨
The food didn’t taste great. The seafood sticks taste like they are just mashed up something in batter. Potato cake was not very nice. Not even wanting to try the fish after the horrible taste of the rest of the food.

Bought an egg and lettuce sandwich for $5.50, it was at least a day old I didn’t even risk taking a bite out this stale disgusting food. How can anyone sell food like this and risk the health of their customers?
