My first visit to this shop. The first thing I asked the lady was how big are your Blue granadier fillets. She motioned with her hands a fairly decent size but very blaze about it. I said to her that I’m asking because I need to know how much I will need.
When my order was done I see this tiny piece of fish. Super thin. I go back to say I thought you said the fillets were a decent size.
My biggest issue was the attitude from them that followed. She says..well yer thats how big it is. I said I asked you for a reason and you obviously had no idea and brushed me off. She turns to the owner?who says that’s how big they are at a fish and chip shop.(as tho I’ve never ordered fish before)
They literally didn’t care and she was so rude and zero customer service or care factor to my question.

Burnt potato cakes full of batter with no potato & fish the size of a butter knife. Chips are a weird, bright yellow colour, might need to change your oil 🤔. It’s definitely not worth your money!!
The very BEST fish and chips anywhere. I had a piece of barramundi, so fresh and succulent, and the chips are light and crispy. The minimum chips portion was huge, so I reheated the leftovers (microwave then frypan) the next day and they still came up great, usually that doesn’t work very well.
I got a burger, chips and potato cakes. The burger was absolutely delicious. The chips were fresh, crunch on the outside and fluffy in the middle. I highly recommend this place.
The souvlaki was dry and full of gristle. It was sliced off and then placed on the grill to reheat it, the tzatziki dip tasted off too. Avoid at all costs
Potato cakes burnt to a crisp, like not even 1mm worth of potato just old oil and batter. I mean we knew it was going to be bad because it’s always like this, but I thought it’s time to finally post a pic and a review. Grilled fish was okay but real thin slices, tasted mostly like batter too.
Food was good but customer service was terrible, messed up our order for 2, called up and told them they forgot one piece of fish, drove all the way back and they wanted to charge me for the second piece that they forgot. No apology and went home empty handed……
I bought a burger from here and it was A+
And the lady serving me was awesome.
I will definitely be back for more.
