Got some whiting, pineapple fritters, potato cakes, chips and veggie burger.
The chips were really good nice and crunchy. The potato cakes we also crunchy, but perhaps a bit thin. The pineapple fritters were amazing! Really delicious. I ordered one fried fish and one grilled, but the fried fish was soggy. We only live 5 mins from here so it must have got soggy very quickly but it was disappointing and not enjoyable. But the grilled fish was quite nice. The veggie burger was good, nothing to write home about. Probably will try other local fish and chipperies before returning (just my experience).
Me and my Family was looking for lunch first time getting take away from The Crispy Catch fish & chip, The staff we’re very welcoming and took my order in good time and food was cooked at it’s best, potato cakes a bit small ask for 4 and got compensated with 10

Crispy Catch Fish and Chips in Ringwood East is hands down the best in the area! The fish is always fresh, and the batter has just the right texture—crispy, golden, and never too heavy. It’s clear they care about quality, and every bite reflects that. Their souvlaki is excellent and of high quality (and quantity) too. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s a place that feels like home with food that tastes amazing. Highly recommend stopping by for top-notch fish and chips!

The food is fresh and hot as great chips and potato cakes should be. I had the sweet potato cakes and the chicken snitzel (both really tasty and well seasoned). My family also had a few of the souvlaki and the meat was really tender and the salad was fresh.
This is one of our favourite fish and chip shops around would 100% recommend.

Oh man, this place used to be so good. I’m not sure what’s happened, but the food is not the same. The meats tasted weird, the chips were under seasoned, and everything packed flavour. Such a shame, as this used to be our go-to.
I used to live in Ferntree Gully, and the Crispy Catch there, is shocking.
The Crispy Catch in Ringwood, is a 100% completely different ball game. The food is plentiful and delicious. If you like a hot dog in batter, they serve up one that will keep you happy. They are our regulars now, and we are always full and happy after eating.

This fish n chips shop is YUMMM 🤤 we had a chicken burger, plain burger, burger with the lot, nuggets and chips and everything was delicious 😋👌
The man and lady running the shop we very accommodating, friendly and happy to have a laugh.
