Ordered the buttermilk fish and chips with dimsims and potato cakes. The fish was juicy and fresh in a light batter, and chips delicious. Could control the salt level for our family which was great for our little ones.
Love the cheerful faces of the new owners behind the bar. Highly recommend 🙂

First time customer yesterday, the pizza was delicious, finally somewhere that uses the right ham and lots of toppings. My only criticism is it was a little salty, not sure if that was the sauce, dough or something added to the garlic. But I will be back.

There is no point ordering from this store, especially when you schedule a time and they do not deliver it. When you call and ask for a refund they yell at you and hang up they are rude, disgusting and disrespectful. I might call the health department on them as they are dirty!
Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Always cooked perfectly. Now my favourite in Ballarat. Staff are super friendly.
Unfortunately order was delivered in plastic bag which I previously have not had delivered like that and paper wrapped around food was saturated which has made meal soggy. No fault of Monte’s as it would have been cooked properly, but it looks like driver must have spilled a bottle of water on order making it not suitable for eating even tried to air fry it 🥴
