We decided to travel to Trafalgar today to get our delious fish and chips, I love this place, it’s not the first time we have got our take away here . Ordering is easy and the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. With a 10 minute wait our fish bites and chips, dim sims and potato cakes were ready and they tasted perfect, the fish bites were a $1.50 each and are a fantastic bite size. Fish bits is located perfectly in the main street with plenty of parking that makes this trip easy and also conveniently a street away from the highway for those people who are travelling through town. Great prices and great food and customer service, they also have table and chairs to sit on out the front
Very disappointing. Waited close to an hour for our food. The service is terrible. No communication and staff try and avoid eye contact when enquiring how much longer it will be. Lamb Souvlaki was horrible. The wrap it was in was stale. The lamb just dry little chunks. Hsp was cold and barely any chicken or sauce and no salt. $15 for one souvlaki and $14 for the Hsp do not waste your money.

Still drooling over an exceptional lunch pack yesterday. Excellent fresh fish, generous serves, top quality chips and salad (the fetta and dressing is a lovely touch) and it’s clear there is real pride in the product. Service was excellent, a really massive positive change. Will absolutely be returning and highly reccomend everyone support this hard working, clean, quality and quick option in Trafalgar, cause it was bloody delicious.

The service here is so spot on, the fish and chips are such a good quality, clean oil, fresh and made taste all the better by the lovely service.
I walked into such a happy place , I did fill bad as they were on the verge of closing , I can say that has been the best fish and chips I’ve had in the last 5 years. Chips were crunchy 😋 salted well , flake was golden fresh 👌, dim sims on point , but the biggest highlight was the double beef cheeseburger, the lady that served me I didn’t get your name , that was unreal 😋 I still haven’t finished it full of flavour. Big potential great work guys I’ll be back.

i’ve recently moved down to the area and the first ever interaction i had with shelly and her team was absolutely phenomenal, they are all so very kind filled with smiles and warming conversations to really make you feel at home. anytime i feel like takeout they’re my go to everytime. i’ve had their burgers which are amazing, juicy and made with love, they’re chips are a hit everytime and i absolutely love their flake, today i tried their garlic aoli and when i tell you it’s the best aoli ive ever had i am not lying, absolutely amazing all out, the whole of fish bits staff goes above and beyond with their food and service as well as delivering if they have the staff and time which they always try to achieve and have everytime for me, i can’t say enough positive things about the business and the people that work there, hats off to you guys and thank you for being amazing as well as having such a warm welcome to me and my partner to trafalgar ❤️
