Heard a lot, but chips were below average. Fish fries were drenched into cheap oil and not that tasty.
Food is not the same quality as it has been in the past, definitely not the same, green/black chips and potato cakes, chips are not really nice either, pity, they use to be really good from here.
Quick lunch snack was great. There is lots of fish and chip shops in Warrnambool and this one is always really busy at meal times which is a good sign. Food is always really fresh and good quality here. There is a big range of options at reasonable prices. I always judge on their chips and pretty good today, proper home made potato cakes too.
We came here for a quick family holiday dinner, we called at around 6:40 and food was ready for pick uo perfectly when we arrived. The chips were really delicious and it was some of the best fish I’ve had in a while, the worker on the phone helped recommend how many boxes of chips to get and were very helpfull. 10/10 would recommend for a meal
The guy who took my order, he was wearing a Carlton shirt, he was absolutely wonderful. Very efficient, really polite, so good.
This is a great fish and chip shop, fresh fish and good quality, and i do recomend, my only disapoinment is they do not supply lemon wedges for the fish, even if you charge for them, just have them please.
Father-in-Law approved🎉………I chose this shop based on good reviews and im really happy. I ordered flake, Barramundi prawns dims and potato cakes and chips. All were great and fresh not pre-frozen Thank you!
We went because it had good reviews.
They are known for good fish and chips, i thought I’d try the steak sandwich and potato cakes, wish I’d had fish.
I do like a little gristle on my steak but this was a little steak on my gristle, how they dehydrated the bread in such a small amount time is just special.
Oh the potato cakes…..cut in half the potato represented about 20% of the product and unfortunately i like potato more than a lot of batter.
