Decent fish and chip shop with good value for money. Generous sized fish and scallops, nice and crispy and not oily. Steak sandwich was good too.
I was told this place had the best fish n chips. Not too bad!! Two big bits of battered fish and a serve of chips for $20. Yep, pretty good.
We were recently in town for a sports event and came across this takeaway through a Google search. All of the reviews are spot on. Food was delicious! We had chips and hamburgers and they were great. The chips in particular were amazing! Great little find!
Everything so nice except the chips, which are kinda dry and fluffy and too thick. But the fish cocktails are incredible – soft inside and crispy outside. Potato scallops creamy and crispy. Seafood stick delicious. Everything else on the menu I’ve tried over the last year was also good.

Real good burgers made with fresh meat as opposed to frozen patties. The go to place for takeaway. Big menu, great staff. They care.
Do not miss out on Paul’s on Harrison! This has been mine and my partners go to soul food for 2 years now and now that we are moving to QLD we will miss this place more than ever! The owners and staff are LOVLEY! And produce the best hot chips in Newcastle and beyond!! The sweet potato scollops are top notch! We are looking forward to indulging again when we get back! Thanks again guys!

Great value for money. Chips are amazing, cocktail fish is huge and favouresome, scallops are great as well. Highly recommend it.
