Once I saw the beautifully presented salads, I couldn’t go past without ordering my lunch here! The grilled fish and chips with a drink lunch, all for $5.95, was worth every cent. Presented with a slice of juicy lemon, it was delicious. The hard-working couple behind the counter looked like they work very hard to keep everything ship-shape and clean. There were many customers, which is always a good sign. There is plenty of seating available, given that Fish N Chix is in the food court.
Ordered crumbed fish burger and battered fish and chips. The bun was dry and stale, the image on the wall had tomatoes but as you can see I got none, plus the lettuce was old. The battered fish and chips must’ve been flash-fried multiple times before I ordered because the fish inside was extremely dry and as you can see the batter is literally on the verge of being rock hard and the chips were also not edible. We also asked for no salt on the chips but they had salt on it. The photos I’ve attached were taken just before I chucked it in the bin. Never eating there again.
This is the worst fish and chix shop I’ve ever been to they gave burnt calamari’s very little salad then she turns around and tells me what you pay is what you get you don’t say that to your customers get some advice from merrylands store 😡😡
This is the worst fish cocktails I’ve ever had in my entire life so far in Sydney. They weren’t even fish cocktails. I don’t know what they were, little sticks and zero flavour.. I was suspicious when it didn’t smell nice in the car. They weren’t even fish cocktails it was just terrible. This was my first and last time purchasing anything from there. The lady serving was rude as well
This is the worst fish cocktail I have ever had in my whole life. This was a disgrace. I don’t know what it was, It did not even look like fish cocktails nor did it taste like fish cocktails. I am never going back there again first and last time.they were bite size piece of rubbish.they weren’t even fish, it was stale and tasteless.
Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. The staff at the counter was extremely rude. She didn’t give me a receipt with my number on it, and when the order was ready, she called my number. I had no idea it was my order because I was never given a receipt in the first place. Her attitude was horrible, and it felt like she didn’t want to work there at all. I even felt sorry for her, thinking maybe she was having a bad day — but when I checked the reviews, I saw that many people had the same experience.
The food was just as disappointing. I was served rotten potatoes, and the fish was average at best. I will never be visiting this place again.
I’ve been a regular here, the quality of service and food is declining it used to be excellent now it is below sub par the burger I was made was extremely bad and bland. Please bump up the quality check
