Tasty and fresh fish ($5.40) even if it was on the smaller side. Sweet potato fries ($5) were nicely cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. There is a nice variety on the menu to choose from with reasonable prices and the people serving are friendly as well.
$20.20 for single seafood pack. Chips were not nice. Very plain and undercooked. Fish was battered or crumbed, I ordered battered and was quite nice. Calamari rings were ok. Service was great food was ok.
My partner and I had a Chicken works Bergers from them tonight. It’s so delicious, fresh, perfect cook chicken with warm bun and/with very fresh salad. Always go here.
Well done. Good job.

It’s a bonus to be able to choose the type of fish you want and get it cooked. Service is speedy and the fish is cooked perfectly.
14/5/25 11.00. Starving. Too early for lunch. Parked near Luckys. Slipped in and snagged a piece of bream. My favourite fish. Asked for it battered. $10. Same deliciously crisp thin batter. Extraordinary value as this was a sizable fillet. If you want the best fish in Lismore, you’ve gotta try Luckys.
3/5/24 Chose a piece of pearl perch, and a piece of mullet from the cabinet to be battered and cooked along with 6 crumbed calamari rings. Total cost was just shy of $18. Phenomenal value. The price per kilo looks scary but there’s not a lot of weight in a piece of fish. Both were cooked to perfection in a crispy thin batter. Both different thicknesses but both cooked perfectly by someone that knows a lot about cooking fish. The crumb on the calamari was on the thick side but it was delicious and the calamari tender and flavourful. As I stated in my last review, to be able to choose the variety of fresh fish you want cooked is a rare phenomenon these days. In my experience, this was a very affordable meal of deliciously cooked seafood, far removed from your normal ” frozen” fare served up at your normal rip off “Fish and Chips” establishment.
Service was super efficicient and friendly.
29/11/24 Had a superb piece of Coral Trout today. Cooked to perfection inside the thin crispy batter. The calamari rings today were perfect and the home made potato scallops delicious.
20/1/25 My visit today was worth a picture. A piece of fresh gold band snapper, from the showcase, which i chose to have battered because it’s so thin and crisp, but the choice is yours because it’s done to order. It was a large, thick piece and after it was weighed, was only $16. Cooked to perfection, along with more calamari rings, because they’re delicious and a couple of house made scallops.
Had the $15 lunch special. Well cooked. Great value meal. It even included a choice of deserts. Great Aussie take away. We dined at the outdoor tables at Luckys. I highly recommend this food outlet. They even sell fresh seafood.
Burnt and soggy , taste like oil hasn’t been change since the floods . Just dont bother
They’re an alright fish and chips place, they have online ordering, and the staff are friendly. But management seem to have some incredibly weird vendetta against putting enough chicken salt on there. Every employee seems instructed explicitly to put minimal on there, and “yeah yeah sure” lie if you ask for extra until pressed, then they admit they “don’t do extra”. Interestingly they sell 20x the amount of chicken salt I’d want in little tubs, so they clearly understand how cheap chicken salt is. I got sick of being disappointed with unsalted food with usually at least one item missing, so I haven’t been there in a while
A choice of different menus not just including fish.
Their hamburgers looked amazing.
The battered fish of the day will definitely make me come back for more.
Perfectly cooked.
Golden and crispy.
Absolutely lovely staff with an attitude to match.
