Great little takeaway, reasonable price and a good amount of food! Real chips and i think the scallops are the best i’ve ever had 😁
Just came here for the first time with about 10 of my mates and the staff served us so quickly and efficiently, there was so many options for what we could have and the sweets oh my god so so so so so yummy. I’ve had a lack of fish and chips in a bag for too long but today that was solved. Maddest legends. Awesome food, reasonable prices.
Im from Port Macquarie and we had some cupcakes delivered to us today from a co-worker and OMG the cupcakes were the tastiest/freshest cupcakes I’ve ever had. Everyone commented how delicious they were. We had caramel, carrot and chocolate. Highly recommend.
Nice little shop. The girl who wrapped my order needs some service training though. I had my order written as ‘boxed’ as I was driving with it, and she wrapped it. I asked her to put it in a box and she was fuming. She went to the back of the shop, yelled at the manager, and got the largest box possible and tipped it all in. Glared at me the whole time, and thrust the box over the counter at me.
Asked her for my sauce and she practically threw that at me.

Honestly the food was great, but her attitude was terrible. I was polite the whole time as well, she was just obviously more important than me.
Great takeaway foodstuffs and in house made sweets.

I have recently revisited Dolly’s to see if the progress being made last time had continued and unfortunately can only report bad news.
This recent experience with Dolly’s showed the service, food quality, and diligence to have dropped, significantly. My order was taken with complete indifference, was then not fulfilled correctly, and when I asked for my correct order, I was almost snarled at. I have also just realised upon getting home, that the wrong change was also given, so I paid $10 more for food that was the worst quality I’ve received from this establishment, from a person who clearly does not care in the last about being kind or professional.
I’m sorry Dolly’s, I was hoping so much that it would be as good as Angeez. But after this last experience, I will not be returning. 😔

I used to go here all the time when it was “Angeez”. After Dolly’s took over, I assumed there would be some adjustment time, especially with new staff. Over the last year, the food has never been unsatisfactory at all, but I have seen the food progressively improving.
I can say that the burger combo I got today, was without a doubt, as good as anything I ever got from “Angeez”.

I hate giving small businesses bad reviews but the fish & chips were the worst I have ever had. Cardboard like texture to the chips and the fish just as dry.
Quintessentially generous Chicken and Salad Sandwich on Fresh White Bread. Great value at $10 and plenty big enough to share. An easy walk to the Riverside Park Benches.
