Ordered today – 6 fish cocktails, 2 barramundi, 1 salmon, 1 calamari and 1 crab claw – all cooked fresh and within 10 mins and my oh my did it taste absolutely magical! This place is amazing – from service to the taste of the food, we were so impressed. We will 100% be back, after all, best fish and chips we’ve had in Sydney so far! 😍 (don’t mind the photos, I was too hungry to try to take some nice pics)
One of the best fish and chips places I’ve ever been to in all of Sydney beaches. The shop looks so humble and local that you may pass without notice. It’s also a fishmongers so all their produces are super fresh. We ordered a seafood box and nothing beats it truthfully. The best calamari rings I’ve ever tasted- lightly crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy with thick cuts of squid meat. So so delicious!! The fish cocktails are fresh too. There’s a few tables to sit outside on a quiet street. Highly recommend ⭐️
I had the best salmon in Rosebay, grilled and sashimi. The owner is a gem, he’s funny, he took care of the place well. I’ll just miss Fish at the Bay if I’m no longer in Rose Bay
Ngl, this was the best fish and chips of my life. I’ve never tasted fish so fresh. Get the crumbed option!! Also, the service from everyone was so warm they make you feel like family.
This place is excellent. My daughter recommended it and sooo glad she did. I had the grilled fish and chips, some of the best fish I’ve ever had. My son had the breaded and fried version, and he said the same. Very friendly service and fun vibe. We have a short stay here in Sydney but want to return.

The family has a selection of the fish, chips, potato scallops, and calamari (juicy and delicious), and if they have fresh blue eye cod in the window, grab it and get it grilled with lemon and butter.
My husband and I love this place, we’ve come here a few times and the food is always amazing. The fish is always cooked to perfection, this chips are always really crispy and the sashimi is so fresh! The staff are always lovely especially William as he makes the experience very personalised he’s very friendly and always remembers us when we come in.
Me and my wife have come here multiple times over the last few months, Every visit has been amazing the food is always fresh and there service is top notch. William is always very friendly and welcoming and makes the experience that much better. I recommend trying it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.
