We arrived 20 minutes before closing, they were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered a works beef/chicken Burger with 1 x small wedges and a tub of gravy.
Everything was amazing, from being asked how I’d like my egg to sauce preference, we did not wait long either for all the food to be finished and ready. The wedges were nice and cripsy, the gravy was amazing, and so were the burgers.
The layout of the place is a bit of nostalgia with no sensory overload, really simple elegant layout.
The price here is so cheap for the food, can’t wait to go back again.
P.S the slushies are great, ask my wife, she wouldn’t share.
Very tasty food, quality ingredients and very friendly staff. The chicken works burger was so incredible, I forgot to take a photo until I’d already taken a few bites. The red jewel in Taree. Stop reading this and just go there right now!
Great little spot, quiet intersection, very reasonably priced food! Big portions! Foods decent, messy big burgers. coffees good. Service was good and fast.

Really sad to see the old owners go… The new food just isn’t the same. Not trying to be mean, but it’s a big step down from what it used to be.

I have not visited for ages. So very happy to see it so clean and the staff were lovely. Food was so yummy and husbands breakfast burger was huge! Very fresh. The new owners are doing a great job.

This place used to be a true hidden gem. The food was always fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care by the previous owners.
However, since the ownership change in April 2025, the quality has noticeably declined. It is disappointing to say, but the food just isn’t up to the standard it used to be.
