We picked up our order of cooked prawns from the Fisho on Christmas Eve and what a pleasant experience it was!
They were prepared for the onslaught of customers with plenty of staff, and all were serving everyone with a smile.
No one was rushed and all questions were answered like it was a regular day.
All the seafood on display looked tasty but our prawns that we collected were absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend the fisho – 100%!!
I recently visited this fish and chips shop, and it was amazing! I ordered battered and crumbed fish, chips, calamari, and prawns, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and everything tasted super fresh. The service was friendly, and I had a great experience. I’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend this place!
Go to spot in Yamba for fish and chips. Anytime I’m in Yamba I always make a point to grab some fish and chips. Yes they are often busy but that’s just because they do a good job. My go to fish is the crumbed hoki, that’s my favourite. Pro tip, once you have your fish and chips drive over to any of the beaches such as Turner’s beach, main beach or Pippies and enjoy your fish and chips in front of the beach on the picnic tables. There are plenty of tables near the top of main beach which is normally where you’ll have the best luck.
Good Service with a smile ! A big piece of Hoki as you can’t buy Flake, generous amount of minimum chips & the BIGGEST BEST POTATO CAKES in Oz 👍👍
Enjoyed a family dinner at Fisho’s while on holiday. We rarely eat fish and chips, but this was exactly what we were craving. The calamari and prawn cutlets were excellent and clear family favourites, closely followed by the potato scallops. The battered snapper was good, though slightly fishy, and the chips were not a favourite. Service was excellent throughout.
Best fish in town plus the scallops are huge & just delicious. The chips are awesome too. A great meal for 2 adults. Easy parking right at the door but so popular so it is best to ring & put your order in so you don’t have to stand in a line during busy periods. Excellent food, service & great staff. Thank you 👍👍👏👏

Lovely fish and chips shop. Clean, well run, and not greasy at all. Even from a distance you can tell the oil is clean haha.
We arrived just as fresh oysters were delivered from their supplier, which was a great sign. The fish was cooked beautifully and the batter was more like a panko-style crumb that stayed on the fish and did not pull away. Super tasty.
Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
This was probably one the best fish and chips weve ever had. There was soooo much chicken salt and everything was just overall just fresh and tasty!!! Def get the seafood for 2 if you go it’s perfect. Also service was really good, the guy who took out order was lovely 🙂
