Great little old school takeaway joint. The new management team have cleaned the place out and are lovely to talk to. The chips with chicken salt are excellent, they also do good calamari, burgers etc. We haven’t had fish there. They also do fresh rolls/wraps during the day and a few tradies have said they’re v good and fresh. The kids often wander down by themselves and buy chips in the holidays for lunch. Love a little locally owned takeaway. Support them!
My husband and I just love this takeaway shop! Great food, lovely owners and always sparkling clean. A thousand times nicer than the previous owners. We love to support local and are thrilled that we can once again get our yummy takeaway from a place so close to home. Bacon and Egg Roll, Hamburgers Chips and Potato Scallops are the best!

I just discovered this cafe yesterday 11/11/25 while visiting the hairdresser next door for the first time. I ordered a fish burger it was amazing a lovely piece of cod lettuce tomato and beetroot with tartare sauce. So fresh and delicious. Also treated myself to and Apple slice freshly made on the premises.had to save half till later. Everything was great, food , service , lovely open clean place. And the people running it so friendly and helpful. 10/10. I’ll be back and recommending it to everyone.

We’ve come here a couple of times and the food is yummy with decent portion sizes and nice quiet atmosphere. The owners and lovely and the fish and chips and burgers are awesome! Great little takeaway, try it out.
Stayed nearby and thoroughly enjoyed our daily walk with dogs to get our morning coffee and breakfast. We also had a fish & chip dinner one night which was brilliant but what I really loved was the random home-made treats…the lolly cake, the Christmas cake, the vanilla slice…something different each day.
First time going.and I ordered the calamari and chips, my daughter got the nuggets and chips and my partner got the steak burger. Calamari and chicken nuggets wete excellent quality. Not the cheap stuff you usually get and both really well priced. Partners steak burger was the best he’s ever had apparently. Highly recommend!. We will be back! Place was immaculately clean and owners were lovely and friendly. .

Very very satisfied with the super fresh bun, the quality meat patty, lettuce, tomato, cooked onion and beetroot.
The couple running the shop are very helpful and friendly.
The chef very kindly brought my meal to me as I sat on the bench outside in the cool breeze.
Best burger by far in the area.
Will be back next visit.
