Best fish and chips on the Gold Coast, best home made potato scallops ever tasted!. You can’t go wrong at this place and cheapest place around just can’t believe how good it is for the price. Definitely be a regular customer

Whenever we come down from Tamborine Mountain always stop there haven’t found a place on the Gold Coast to beat it.
Excellent service & generous servings! The fish (John Dory) and chips were bonza, but the potato scallops were a bit thick, overdone on the outside & underdone inside, but we’d go back.
This is the best fish and chip shop that I have ever been too! The food is fabulous and the prices are so cheap! The calamari and the fish burger was delicious! I will definately be back and I highly recommend going here!!!
went there around 12:00pm, decided to get their fish and chips lunch deal and potato cakes. the chips were hard and tasted like cardboard since they had been sitting in the tray for who knows how long, and the fish (john dori) was overly watery and had no flavour. the only thing id recommend were the potato cakes, which were still a bit undercooked in the centre. would not recommend.
Ashmore City Fisheries is hands down the best! The food is absolutely incredible – fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection every time. The quality is unmatched, and the service is just as amazing. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Honestly, if I could give this place a 10 out of 10, I would – five stars just isn’t enough!
Have had many take away fish and chips from this establishment. The service is friendly and professional, good selection, and the quality and taste of the food is excellent and consistently so.
My wife and I usually buy fish and chips for two early afternoon, and reheat for dinner about 7pm. Both the fish and the chips come up tasting good whilst maintaining their crispness.
Would recommend this little treasure to anyone.
Best fish and chip shop I have ever eaten from, I have never had better batter, crispy, fresh, crunchy and in house made 100% reccomended this place, VERY affordable and friendly owners, my new local.
