Unbelievable, that any business in 2023 only takes cash. It’s clearly a problem for this business and I’ve been asked about it 100 times before because they’ve got an ATM in the building as well. The ATM is a high fee ATM also. I hope they get credit card facilities and if they are concerned about fees just on charge the fees. Can’t comment about the food as we left due to the cash situation.
Absolutely delicious. We had battered Mackerel and ships. The fish was a very large piece and thick. Wonderful. So often u have a very thin piece of fish. And reasonable price. Thanks only $26. We did a phone order👌
Every visit here is a pleasure. The food is always fresh, tasty and great value for money. What really sets this place apart is the people. Mel and the team greet everyone with smiles no matter how busy they are. Even when they’re under the pump they never let the quality or the service slip. Getting our fish and chips is our families favourite meal of the week! Chips are always crunchy and fresh and not to mention the freshness of the fish no matter which way you have it cooked.

Not bad not great. I got meal for 1. Crumbed barra chips and works burger. Positives – Everything cooked well and well seasoned. Burger flavour was good. Negatives = i asked for extra chicken salt 3 times. Got none. They only have Masterfoods tartare sachets. No lemon with fish. Burger was very was sloppy. They had trouble building it, but it was a big boy,so I get it. But still if it cant be done right don’t do it. Everything is basically cooked from frozen except the steak on the works burger from what I can gather. Some things mushy and others flavourless. This place is more like a corner lunch store than a fiah and chip place. A bit in between both actually. Brisbane fish and chip places are so much better. I’ll try another place next time I’m in town.

OMG, I have never been there until tonight, what a feed. Barra was cooked perfectly, the potato scallops huge. Couldn’t eat it all. Thankyou. To the team that work there AMAZING SERVICE.
