This is a fairly new place it is very clean with friendly attentive staff. There is outdoor seating, and it is off the main road so as not to be a problem. The menu is typical of a fish and chip shop. My burger was tasty, but simply a burger and the food is reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a quick lunch, give this place a shot. Public toilets are within the complex, and fuel just across the way. Just one question, why are the chips so yellow?
I ordered Flathead and Chips and a Potato Scallop.
When the order came out I thought it was a mistake. There were 2 large Flathead Fillets. I expected one piece of fish. Cost was $7.80. I thought it was cheap for one piece at that price but 2 fillets. I don’t know how they do it. Cooked well and was excellent eating.
Even the humble potato Scallop was excellent
I highly recommend this business if you like you fish and chips.
I went to this shop first time with my wife and we ordered calamari, fish chips. Taste is really good and I must say it is the best place for authentic food. I love it. 👍
Fish is okay, but the steak sandwich was terrible. Bread wasn’t even toasted and two pieces of what looked like the ends of an overcooked steak. Drowned in sauce. Sorry I don’t know what my order number was? Not sure why it’s relevant.
I ordered for the first time tonight and the food was fantastic. Almost nostalgic, like an old school corner chippie. Order was correct, everything tasted great and was cooked how I would expect. Prices are really reasonable and the portions were generous. We had battered fish and chips and some extra seafoody things but will try the burgers next time. 😋
Chips were good but everything else was burnt.
Such a beautiful little family business, we definitely get our money’s worth here and they have the best hot chips 🙂
Absolute rip off place. $6 for a 330 bottle of coke, $4 for a can of drink. $28 for large chips and three drinks and they ripped me off gravy. Specifically ordered chips and gravy before being asked for chicken salt. Didn’t get it and got an aggressive response from the people behind the counter. Will never be back and don’t recommend anyone else going back. Food was gross as well
