Food wasn’t that good.
Fish tasted like cardboard, no salt on anything, chips has bits of bright green on them and oily and gravy was horrid.
We came to purchase fish and chips from reviews which we thought great so drove beyond to experience not a rather nice dinner.
Very good seafood pack! Only $20.50. Fresh and tasty. Every time I go there the fish is moist and taste great! Very good home made potatoes and egg salad and home made tarta sauce.
Got my food and the gravy was ice cold. I tried to tell them and they pretty much called me a liar saying it was hot and from the jug.. cockroaches also came crawling out from inside when the lady started taking the mats out.. so gross. They also hung up on the phone when I tried to call and get a refund. I had also ordered a few months ago and got shit food but I thought I’d give it another go and totally regret wasting my money
I ordered some food today the 29th of September at 5.30 pm and it said it would be 33 minutes which is fine. Then i got an update online saying it was on it’s way to be delivered, so 45 minutes later no food, and i live only 5 minutes from the shop. I called and gave my name and they confirmed the order. There was a phone number for the driver, so i called it 3 times and no answer and that the number wasn’t in use anymore… so, no food, $38 out of pocket. Be warned that your food can be stolen from a driver!!!!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!
Why the hell would you send battered fish in the fish pack for 2 when it is clearly pictured as crumbed? No option on uber eats for how the fish is to be prepared. The batter was undercooked and extremely greasy. Do better
The cheesy chips are my go to here & they are great. However, I am leaving a negative review due to the poor customer service & the fact they have not updated their business hours! I had just got back to Caboolture from a trip out west (5hr drive away) and felt like grabbing my go to order, I pulled over & checked the opening hours at 6:30pm, the opening hours said until 8pm, so I deviated from my route home, pulled up at 6:45pm and to my surprise, they are closed with no one in sight… it is not a difficult task to update your opening hours on Google. Regardless of that, practically every time I’ve ordered here, the staff are not friendly & provide terribly inaccurate wait times… on multiple occasions I’ve called to order before leaving & have been told 10-15min till ready, I arrive in 15 minutes and they tell me another 10 minutes, so I wait in the car & return in 10 minutes, then they say another 10 minutes again… anyways, that has happened 3 times so far, so unfortunately it’s quite rare to pick up your order on time. So basically; the time management, staff unfriendliness & not updating their opening hours have left me to leave a review.
09/01/26 We get Burgers and chips here often, but they seemed to have changed the pattie. Tonight’s patties had a lot of carrot in them, were tastless and mushy. The chips are usually thick and crispy, sometimes a little salty but we just ask for half salt, but tonight’s chips were different, a lot thinner and soggy. I hope it’s a one off because we really liked this place.
Sampler pack, perfect.. so fresh. Best fish and chips I’ve had in long time. Highly recommend
