Absolutely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The seafood is incredibly fresh, the batter is light and crispy, and everything tastes amazing. Clayfield Seafood is definitely my go-to place for fresh, delicious seafood. Highly recommended!

Great seafood at Seafood Market Clayfield. Had the oysters, Captain’s Rod Fisherman’s Basket, plus extra hoki — all fresh, well cooked, and generous portions. Took only ten minutes for my order.

Yesterday 18/01, I ordered fish & chips and choose cod fish. But, the fish did not look and taste as cod fish. I cannot really affirm it was not cod fish, as the fish was battered… but texture and flavour were not exactly what I was expecting.
Otherwise, chips are great.
The best fish & chips I’ve ever tried—so delicious and fresh! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was. Fish restaurants typically have a distinct smell, but here, even the fish shelves were sparkling clean and odorless. The price reflects the quality, making it worth the trip to experience the best fish & chips in Brisbane.
Highly recommended to everyone.

Staff seemed too busy chatting to serve
Chips weren’t cooked enough, no chicken salt. Beer battered Fish was drowned in oil, threw most of it out.
For somewhere that advertises the best fish and chips in QLD I’d expect better.
