By far the worst fish and chips we have ever had. Only shop open in the area due to public holiday and after waiting 45 mins for just a serve of chips with calamari and fish the delay was unbelievable considering there were only 2-3 other customers in the shop the whole time we were there. After receiving our food, none of us could eat the any of the disgusting chips or calamari which was so full of oil even the seagulls wouldn’t touch any of it . Very annoyed.
Great food & customer service. Tonight my husband pointed out a board inside that has a sign saying “If you’re hungry & have no money, these tickets have been prepaid by our local community. Please take one to staff, & we will prepare your meal”. I absolutely love this! Brilliant idea & a amazing support for the community.
This little hole in the wall was such a pleasant surprise. We were needing a feed before the ferry and were left happy as a clam! We ordered the rocks deal crumbed and everything was fabulous. The crumb was light and all the seafood tasted so fresh. We also order the prawn cutlets and they were so large and handmade for sure! I will definitely be back. ☺️
We visited this store today with friends and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the store was clean, and the staff were genuinely lovely. We had six kids with us, who aren’t exactly quiet, but we felt very welcome and comfortable the whole time. Prices were very reasonable too. Thank you for such great service and a relaxed atmosphere!
My wife and I had fish and chips for lunch today. Very nice and fresh as well. In addition , we had coffee also which hit the spot. Well worth the visit…
Don’t be fooled by the quiet exterior, it’s a hidden gem! Been so long since I had just decent fish and chips! Fish was fresh and beautiful, chicken salt was perfect and the burger was a classic!
Classic corner shop food. You must go here and get a works burger. Lots of indoor seating and two outdoor tables. Great shop.
