Unfortunately this order was not pleasant, Quality of food is low, see for yourself the calamari look poorly made and old. The chips weren’t so good and additional $1.50 each for grilled fish is a bit much.
Spent close to $50 for a pack for two plus cans of drink. Not really happy, will not be trying it again.
Was recommended this place and a solid recommendation it was! Fish and chips are excellent, always cooked fresh with fresh oil and it comes wrapped in a paper parcel that is the perfect size for one. The owner is prompt and professional, when he says 10 minutes it normally takes 5 – We will be back again soon 👍🏼
We used to really like this fish and chip shop but was very surprised on our latest visit. When paying in card the person asked us to select a ‘tip’ on the eftpos machine from a choice of 3. Admittedly it was a small amount but a) it was before we even got the fish and chips and b) since when do we tip a f&c shop in Australia? If they want greater profit just put the price up slightly.
There was an option not to tip (and I didn’t), but then we got our meal and there were barely any chips in it compared to what we normally get.
Unfortunately we won’t be back.
Really nice burger with the lot for $12:50 and the best one I’ve had out this way so far. Everything in the shop looked fresh and clean. The only thing I would say is to make the patty a bit thicker. Take cash with you if you don’t want the surcharge, it’s just that simple.

Our food was lovely- did not have any issues. Fish was nice and crispy, chips well cooked and salted. Works burger had an egg unlike other “works burgers” we’ve got before so thumbs up from us. Not much of a wait about 10 minutes or so.
This was so disappointing. This is my “burger with the lot”. Everything tasted old and soggy. The bread was rock hard and tasted like it had been microwaved. My partner got a piece of fish and the oil was dripping from it. Sadly won’t be back.
